Suspects have been identified as juveniles. Tuesday, August 3rd Between 8:00 PM and 9:45 PM - – A commercial burglary occurred in the 10 block of W. Woodbury Road. Suspect(s) entered the business by shattering the glass door. No items were reported stolen. Friday, August 6th Between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM (Saturday) – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 300 block of Woodbury Rd. Vehicle was recovered two hours later in the area. Items stolen from the vehicle included: red Honda lawnmower, orange Echo leaf blower, orange Stihl hedge trimmer, red Stihl weed whacker, red clippers, red 5 gallon gas tank, and two metal rakes.

The Rotary Club of Altadena in association with the Sheriff’s Support Group of Altadena is hosting for the 10th year. Concerts are on Saturday evening and start at 7:00 PM.
🔸July 10th - The Kings of ’88 and the classic piano rock of Billy Joel and Elton John.
🔸July 17th - Sgt. Peppers Beatles tribute band.
🔸July 24th - Psychedelic Summer Southern California’s Woodstock-era tribute band.
🔸July 31st - Flogging Seagulll performs classic KROQ era artists with an Irish-Celtic twist.
🔸August 7th - Country Nation will pay0 tribute to Country Music’s top contemporary artists.
🔸August 14th - Upstream returns to our stage once again as everyone’s favorite Steel Drum Reggae and Soca Band. As it is every year this concert will be a jammed packed audience!
🔸August 21st - the featured artists WILL y be The Hodads featuring California beach music from the 50’s to the Disco of the 80’s.
🔸August 28th will be Gypsy, a true Stevie Nicks experience and tribute to Fleetwood Mac.
🔸September 11th The Grand Finale of the 24th Summer Concert Series will feature The Walking Phoenixes a Johnny Cash tribute band that celebrates the mission of the “Man in Black." This concert is produced by the Sheriff’s Support Group of Altadena.
This year, the Summer Concert Series has been made possible by the generous support of our sponsors including The Rotary Club of Altadena and Monte Cedro Senior Living. LASD Advisory !

 Advisory: Visit Loved Ones & Get Vaccinated at the Reopening of CRDF Visitations

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) values the importance of visitation, and its role in family connectedness during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

 
Now that Los Angeles County has entered the least restrictive yellow tier, LASD is excited to announce the phased reopening of jail visitation commencing on Mother’s Day weekend (May 8th and 9th) at Century Regional Detention Facility (CRDF).  Due to COVID-19 precautions, the visitation process and requirements have changed. Additionally, the department will be offering free vaccinations to those visiting loved ones at CRDF on Saturday, May 8th from 9am to 12pm, at the Kenneth Hahn Auditorium, located inside Century Sheriff’s Station's lobby.

2:32 AM – A domestic violence incident occurred in the 2000 block of Fair Oaks Avenue. Suspect was taken into custody.
Tuesday, March 23rd
1:30 AM – A domestic violence incident occurred in the 700 block of Alameda Street. Suspect was taken into custody.
Between 7:50 AM and 8:20 AM – A petty theft from a vehicle occurred in the 2800 Santa Anita Avenue. Stolen: orange Echo blower and an orange Echo weed wacker.
Wednesday, March 24th
8:30 AM – A petty theft occurred in the 40 block of W. Pine Street. Stolen: boxes containing toys.
Thursday, March 25th
2:54 PM – A battery occurred in the 2900 block of El Nido Drive. Two juvenile suspects were taken into custody.

Sunday, March 14th
11:20 AM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 600 block of E. Sacramento Street. Vehicle described as a white 2016 KIA Sorento. *Vehicle was recovered by LASD Altadena.
Monday, March 15th
7:01 PM – Sylvester Gholar, 61 years of Pasadena was arrested in the area of Ventura Street and Fair Oaks Avenue for possession of a controlled substance.
Tuesday, March 16th
12:35 PM – A robbery occurred in the area of Canyon Crest Drive and Canyon Crest Road. Stolen: black Canon R5 camera. Investigation is on-going.
Wednesday, March 17th
Between 5:00 PM and 6:00 AM (Thursday) – A commercial vandalism occurred in the 2300 block of N. Marengo Avenue. Damage: shattered door.
Friday, March 19th
8:23 PM – Sebastian Escobedo, 42 years old of Pomona was arrested in the area of Glenrose Avenue and Figueroa Drive for drinking in public.
