The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department COVID-19 “Super-Spreader” Task Force has been fully mobilized & will be conducting multiple operations tonight all over
County of Los Angeles
. In LA County a person dies of #COVID every 10 minutes. Let’s save lives by staying home tonight!
During the month of December, 235 arrests were made, 7 illegal firearms were taken off the streets & 1 at-risk juvenile was rescued by @lasdhq personnel. I have made it clear that we will seek out & take law enforcement action against all "Super-Spreader" events in

Altadena Sheriff's Station

 

**Update**
Upon further investigation, deputies and detectives have determined a house was struck by the shooting, which occurred on 12/28/20. Inside the residents, a child was sleeping. No one was injured; however, we are asking for help regarding any information about this incident.
Seeking Information
Altadena Sheriff’s Station is continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident which occurred on Monday, December 28, 2020, at approximately 10:45 p.m. There were several shots heard near the 500 block of West Palm Street. There were no injuries as a result of this shooting.
Altadena Sheriff’s Station detectives are currently investigating this incident. Please contact the station with any information at 626-798-1131.

Altadena Sheriff's Department needs your help

 

On October 27, 2020, Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Fifth District, reinstated the $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of 4-year-old Salvador “Chavita” Esparza from Altadena.
On July, 5, 2016, 4-year-old Salvador was shot and killed as he stood in the doorway of a residence located on the 300 block of Figueroa Drive in Altadena. Salvador was just an innocent victim who was caught in the crossfire of a gang-related incident.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau Detectives are still seeking the public’s help with any information about this case and are asked to call Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500 or you can remain anonymous by calling “Crime Stoppers by dialing (800) 222-TIPS (8477). Altadena Station Crime Blotter for 12/13/2020

 

Sunday, December 13th
Between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM (Saturday) – A grand theft from a vehicle occurred in the 900 block of Weimar Avenue. Stolen: 2002 Ford F250 catalytic converter.
1:21 PM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 1000 block of E. Woodbury Road. Vehicle described as a burgundy 2020 Land Rover Range Rover. Vehicle currently outstanding.
Between 10:00 PM and 7:30 AM (Monday) – A commercial burglary occurred in the 2500 block of N. Lincoln Avenue. Suspect(s) entered the business by shattering the front glass door. Stolen: unknown.
Monday, December 14th
9:45 AM – A petty theft of landscaping equipment occurred in the 100 block of E. Woodbury Road. Stolen: black leaf blower and a white weed trimmer.
Tuesday, December 15th
4:00 PM – A battery occurred in the 2300 block of N. Lake Avenue. Suspect has not been identified.
Wednesday, December 16th
11:40 PM – A robbery occurred in the 2200 block of N. Lake Avenue. Suspect has not been identified. Stolen: currency.
Friday, December 18th
5:40 PM – Alexander Bin, 30 years old of Pasadena was arrested in the 1700 block of Mar Vista Avenue for an attempt residential burglary.
