Altadena Drive.  Suspect is known.  Stolen:  Vizio 39” flat screen television, LG cellphone, Samsung Galaxy 4 cellphone, brown wallet, currency. Monday, April 4th 1:18 AM – A petty theft occurred in the 2500 block of El Molino Avenue.  Suspect described as a male, Black, 25 – 30 years old.  Stolen:  blue men’s bicycle 3 speed. 6:00 AM – A residential burglary occurred in the 1400 block of N. Altadena Drive.  Suspect(s) entered the storage cabinet via unknown means.  Stolen: Toms drums, Ludwig snare drum, Yamaha snare drum, various accessories, padlock. 10:00 AM - A residential burglary occurred in the 1700 block of Mar Vista Avenue.  Suspect(s) entered the residence via the unlocked rear door.  Stolen: costume jewelry. 10:15 AM – Marlinna Estrada, 28 years old of Altadena was arrested in the 3300 block of N. Fair Oaks Avenue for domestic violence. 4:00 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 2100 block of Lake Avenue.  Suspect entered the location by damaging the window screen.  Stolen:  PlayStation 3. Tuesday, April 5th 1:38 AM – A shooting at an inhabited dwelling occurred in the 1500 block of N. Altadena Drive.  No suspect description.  No injuries reported. 8:00 AM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 3300 block of Alicia Avenue.  Suspect is known. 9:00 PM – A business vandalism occurred in the 1900 block of Lake Avenue.  Suspect(s) shattered the front glass door. Wednesday, April 6th 7:30 AM – A battery occurred in the area of Pine Street and Lake Avenue.  Suspect described as a male, Black, 5’10 - 5’11, 180 – 190.  The suspect struck the victim unprovoked and fled southbound on Lake Avenue in a silver Chrysler Pacifica. 6:40 PM – Huston Rodriguez, 37 years old of Pasadena was arrested in the area of Crosby Street and Spaulding Place for being under the influence of a controlled substance. 6:40 PM – Ashlee Aguirre, 26 years old of Pasadena was arrested in the area of Crosby Street and Spaulding Avenue for possession of a controlled substance. Thursday, April 7th 2:00 PM – A battery occurred in the 2100 block of N. Lake Avenue.  Suspects have been identified. 7:00 PM – A residential vandalism occurred in the 2900 block of Santa Rosa Avenue.  Suspect(s) damaged the chain link fence. Friday, April 8th 9:05 AM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 2100 block of N. Lincoln Avenue.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by unknown means.  Stolen: red purse, currency. 10:45 PM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 300 block of E. Altadena Drive.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicle through the passenger side window.  The window was moved from the window frame.  Stolen: currency. Saturday, April 9th 1:30 AM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the area of Catalina Avenue and New York Drive.  Vehicle damage:  dented door. 2:05 AM – A prowling incident occurred in the 1400 block of Coolidge Avenue.  A male wearing a dark hooded sweater was observed looking into the victim’s residence through a window.  The resident walked towards the window and the male ran from the location. 3:00 AM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 3100 block of N. Marengo Avenue.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the passenger window.  Stolen:  clothing, books. 11:10 AM – A robbery occurred in the 2200 block of Lincoln Avenue.  The suspect entered the business armed with a firearm and demanded money.  Fearing for his safety, the victim opened the registered and handed over the money.  Suspect described as a male, Hispanic, 20 – 25 years old, thin build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark bandana covering his face, gray sweatpants and blue sneakers.  Stolen:  currency. 11:40 AM – A mutual battery occurred in the 2100 block of El Sereno Avenue.  Suspects are roommates. 8:40 AM – A grand theft occurred in the 4500 block of El Prieto Road. Stolen: Specialized 5-work demo 8” bicycle.
3:30 PM – A robbery occurred in the area of Harding Avenue and Washington Boulevard. The victim was approached by a male Hispanic and female Hispanic who told the victim they were looking for their vehicle. The male Hispanic punched the victim and took his money and pocket knife. Suspects were last seen on Harding Avenue. Stolen: pocket knife, currency.
10:00 PM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the area of Navarro Avenue and Figueroa Drive. Deputies responded to the area regarding shots fired and found a victim who had been shot in the leg. No suspect info. Victim suffered no life-threatening injuries.

1:00 AM – A burglary from a storage shed occurred in the 1900 block of E. Washington Boulevard. Suspect(s) entered the shed via unknown means. Stolen: gray suitcase, baby clothing, documents.

8:30 PM – A grand theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 300 block of Parkman Street. Stolen: Wilson pro-golf clubs.
9:45 PM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the area of Allen Avenue and Atchison Street. The suspects became irate due to the victim driving the posted speed limit and proceeded to pass her vehicle. The suspects pulled up to the driver’s side of the victim’s vehicle and pointed a silver handgun. A gunshot was fired towards the victim’s vehicle and the suspects fled the area. Suspects described as (2) male white’s, 20 – 25 years old, driving a black Fiat, 4 door, with European license plates. No injuries.
22:00 PM – A grand theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 2800 block of Maiden Lane. Stolen: orange coin purse, various gift cards.
Saturday, March 26th
5:05 PM – Thomas Taylor, 27 years old of Los Angeles was arrested in the 1000 block of E. Mendocino Street for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
7:10 PM – Andre Dillingham, 45 years old, of Pasadena was arrested in the 700 block of E. Altadena Drive for shoplifting.

Tuesday, March 15th
4:42 PM – A commercial burglary occurred in the 400 block of E. Woodbury Road. Suspect described as a female Hispanic, 40 years old, heavy-set. Stolen: black purse containing currency and identification.
9:25 PM – A shoplifting incident occurred in the 700 block of E. Altadena Drive. Suspect described as a male Hispanic, 20 years old. Stolen: (6) bottles of Hennessey.
10:25 PM – A strong armed robbery occurred in the area of Vermont Street and Lincoln Avenue. The victim was walking in the area when he observed four males walking towards him. The victim started walking in the opposite direction when he fell and was subsequently punched and kicked by the suspects. Suspects were last seen entering a gold Chevrolet Trailblazer. 12:00 PM – A garage burglary occurred in the 3000 block of Zane Grey Terrace. Suspects entered the garage by prying the side door. Stolen: unknown.

The suspect grabbed money from a compartment and exited the vehicle. Suspect described a male Black, light complexion, beard, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Stolen: currency.

NOAA Officls to test tsunami warning syst in central and southern Calif. on March 23 during Tsunami Preparedness Wk

The National Oceanic And Administration (NOAA) and the California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) plan to conduct a test of the tsunami warning communications system on Wednesday, March 23 at approximately 10:15 a.m. PDT in coastal areas of central and southern California.

NOAA’s National Weather Service Offices in Monterey, Oxnard and San Diego will broadcast the “Required Monthly Test.” The test will also be broadcast on NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards, local television and radio stations.

Some television systems are programmed to scroll a standard emergency alert text message and in some cases, the message may not contain the word “TEST.” An audio message will say that the message is only a test, but if the volume is turned down or otherwise unheard, viewers may not realize the message is a test.

To avoid confusion with an actual alert the test will be canceled if there is excessive seismic activity 24 hours prior to the test. People monitoring the test in coastal areas who do not receive it are asked to inform their local National Weather Service office.

The test is a cooperative effort between NOAA, Cal OES, California Broadcasters Association, and local emergency management officials in coastal California.

During California’s Tsunami Preparedness Week, March 20 - 26, NOAA and emergency managers promote tsunami safety and awareness and urge coastal residents and visitors to prepare themselves and their families for a tsunami. Everyone everywhere should know how to be prepared for tsunamis and what to do to be safe. This is true for people who live or work near the ocean, and also for anyone who may visit someday. For more information visit www.TsunamiZone.org which provides suggestions and resources for your family or organization to "know your zone" and to learn how to be safe. Be counted among people and organizations worldwide by registering your 2016 tsunami preparedness activities!

If you are located in potential tsunami inundation zones you are also encouraged to work with local officials to organize a “Tsunami Walk” evacuation drill for your community, family, group, or neighborhood. NOAA supports America’s PrepareAthon! and recommends everyone take a preparedness action, such as creating a family emergency plan. For more information, see the America’s PreparAthon! web site.

3:30 AM – An arson occurred in the 2100 block of Marengo Avenue. The suspect(s) threw a Molotov cocktail igniting a flowerbed located to the front of a residence. No major damage.
11:38 PM – Luis Rebollar, 25 years old of Alhambra was arrested in the 300 block of Acacia Street for ex-felon in possession of a firearm.
4:20 PM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 600 block of Ventura Street. The suspect(s) shattered the driver’s side tail light.

Thursday, March 3rd

10:30 PM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 400 block of Figueroa Street. The suspect(s) keyed the victim’s vehicle.

8:30 PM – An illegal shooting occurred in the 700 block of East Pine Street, Altadena. No one was struck, however a vehicle was struck twice by bullets. It is unsure if this incident was gang related and is currently under investigation.

Sunday, February 21st
12:08 AM – Domingo Nieves, 62 years old of Pasadena was arrested in the area of Lake Avenue and Washington Boulevard for possession of a controlled substance.
3:31 PM – Kevin Eldridge, 53 years old of La Puente was arrested in the 200 block of Altadena Drive for taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent.
8:45 PM – A shooting at an inhabited dwelling occurred in the 2100 block of N. Lake Avenue. No injuries.
Monday, February 22nd
12:05 AM – A residential vandalism occurred in the 300 block of E. Sacramento Street. The suspect(s) shattered the living room window.
6:03 AM – An armed robbery occurred at Arco AM/PM, 1880 N. Lake Avenue. The suspect was described as a male, Black, 508-510, 170-180, wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, and black pants. The suspect proceeded to the rear of the counter, opened the register and demanded more money. The suspect fled then fled the location.
6:32 PM – Charles Graves, 52 years old of Altadena was arrested in the 2600 block of Tanoble Drive for vehicle vandalism.

Wednesday, February 24th
6:20 PM – Nicholas Judson, 34 years old of Altadena was arrested in the 2200 block of E. Crary Street for domestic violence.
7:00 PM – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 4400 block of Rising Hill Road. Stolen: GPS, black leather briefcase.
Thursday, February 25th
12:21 PM – An attempt robbery occurred in the area of Fair Oaks Avenue and Woodbury Road. The suspect was described as a male, Black, 20–21 yrs, black hair, brown eyes, wearing a blue shirt, blue shorts, and white long socks. The suspect struck the victim in the neck while boarding the bus and demanded the victim’s cellphone. The victim turned around and the suspect struck the victim a second and fled the area.
Friday, February 26th
2:30 PM – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 2000 block of Skyview Drive. Stolen: beach canopy.
9:00 PM – A burglary from an unsecured garage occurred in the 1200 block of Meadowbrook Road. Stolen: K2 silver mountain bike, black Pacific bicycle.
9:30 PM – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 900 block of Athens Street. Stolen: tent, snow discs, first aid kit, flashlight.
Saturday, February 27th
11:45 PM – Darryl Thompson, 54 years old of Altadena was arrested in the 3300 block of Canyon Crest Road for domestic violence.

10:00 AM – A residential burglary occurred in the 400 block of W. Altadena Drive. The suspect(s) entered the residence by shattering the rear window. Property Stolen: Santa Cruz acoustic guitar, gray guitar case, Apple laptop, credit cards. On-going investigation.
3:00 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 1900 block of Harding Avenue. The suspect(s) entered the residence by prying the rear door. Property Stolen: silver MacBook Pro, silver iPhone 6S.
6:09 PM – A robbery occurred at Baja Ranch Market, 2515 Fair Oaks Avenue. The suspect was described as a male, 35 years, 5’5” – 5’6”, 130 – 140 lbs. Property Stolen: beer.
7:00 PM – A petty theft from a vehicle occurred in the 1200 block of Boston Street. Property Stolen: black bumper hitch cover.
9:15 PM – Iberville Beard, 31 years old of Altadena was arrested in the 500 block of W. Figueroa Street for a court order violation.
11:51 PM – Erlyn Ramirez, 32 years old of Altadena was arrested in the 500 block of W. Calaveras Street for possession of a controlled substance.

11:10 AM – A package theft occurred in the 1100 block of E. Mariposa Street. Property Stolen: package containing baby bedding.
1:45 PM – David Mejia, 19 years old of Pasadena was arrested in the 2600 block of N. Fair Oaks Avenue for firearm related charges and receiving stolen property.
Tuesday, January 26th
11:10 AM – Jasmine Glenn, 27 years old of Rosemead was arrested in the 300 block of W. Las Flores Drive for domestic violence.
4:00 PM – A petty theft occurred at Unlimited Wireless, 2108 N. Fair Oaks Avenue. The suspect was described as a male, juvenile, 5’9”, 180 lbs, wearing a red plaid flannel and blue jeans. Property Stolen: black iPhone 5.
6:15 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 3300 block of Barhite Street. The suspect(s) entered the residence by shattering the glass sliding door. Property Stolen: gold necklace with diamond pendant, gold bracelet.
Wednesday, January 27th
7:00 AM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 100 block of W. Mendocino Street. Vehicle Stolen: silver 2014 Volkswagen Passat. Still outstanding.
7:46 AM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 2100 block of N. Lincoln Avenue. Vehicle Stolen: white 2007 Jeep Compass. Still outstanding.
10:51 AM – A petty theft occurred at Unlimited Wireless, 2108 N. Fair Oaks Avenue. The suspect was described as a male, 30 -35 years old, 6’3”, 190 lbs. Property Stolen: white Samsung Galaxy S3. George Clayton, 34 years old transient from Pasadena was later arrested with the phone on January 28th.
12:00 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 400 block of Devirian Place. Suspect(s) entered the residence by shattering the rear window. Unknown if property was stolen.
3:40 PM – Clifton Ribodeaux, 64 years old of Altadena was arrested in the 2400 block of El Sol Avenue for domestic violence.
5:27 PM – Noe Echeverria, 30 years old of Pasadena was arrested in the area of El Sereno Avenue and Woodbury Road for possession of a controlled substance.
9:32 PM – Brandon Gardner, 31 years old of Altadena was arrested in the 2800 block of Olive Avenue for battery.
Thursday, January 28th
4:25 PM – Jonathan Munoz, 20 year old transient was arrested in the 1400 block of E. Loma Alta Drive for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Friday, January 29th
11:48 PM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 2900 block of Casitas Avenue. Vehicle Stolen: blue 2016 Ford Escape. Vehicle was recovered the same day it was stolen by the Los Angeles Police Department. Suspect in-custody.
Saturday, January 30th
2:00 PM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the area of Loma Alta Drive and Lake Avenue. The suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the rear window. Property Stolen: black and gold Michael Kors purse, black wallet, social security card.
