Sunday, August 19th 10:15 AM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 2300 block of E. Washington Boulevard. Vehicle described as a gold 2000 Honda Civic. Vehicle was recovered by LAPD Southeast Division. Monday, August 20th 6:00 AM – A residential burglary occurred in the 3000 block of La Corona Avenue. Suspect(s) entered the residence by removing the window screen. Stolen: unknown. 7:22 AM – A residential burglary occurred in the 600 block of W. Mendocino Street. Suspect(s) entered the residence by removing the window screen. Stolen: black wallet and currency. Tuesday, August 21st 4:06 AM – Agustin Aldaba, 57 years old of Altadena was arrested in the 2700 block of N. Tola Avenue for vehicle burglary. 11:00 AM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 2900 block of El Nido Drive. Vehicle damage: shattered window and dents. Wednesday, August 22nd 8:28 PM – A grand theft occurred in the 2200 block of N. Lincoln Avenue. Stolen: iPhone X. 9:30 PM – A grand theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the area of Glen Canyon Road and Roosevelt Avenue. Stolen: gold & tan duffel bag, phone charger, clothing, sports equipment, and currency. Thursday, August 25th No Significant incidents. Friday, August 24th 6:30 PM – A grand theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 1700 block of New York Drive. Stolen: yellow and black tool bag and various construction tools. 8:30 PM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the 300 block of Palm Street. Investigation is on-going. Saturday, August 25th 7:03 AM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 2200 block of Lincoln Avenue. Vehicle damage: scratched. 12:02 AM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the 2500 block of Fair Oaks Avenue. Investigation is on-going.

Music, namely, Reggae, Calypso, Soca and Steel Drum Music, for quite some time
now.
Through the years they
have mesmerized audiences throughout the world and brought ultimate enjoyment
to all. With a multi-talented line up of
some of the most experienced and enlightened musicians in their camp, they
continue to spread joy to an unsuspecting public.
Bandleader and Lead
Singer/Guitarist "Haile Blackman"
is originally from The Republic of Trinidad & Tobago and the Son of the
Legendary Creator of Soca Music, the late Ras Shorty I. The band boasts a very seasoned and
celebrated line up: “Derek
Brewstafari” Steel Drum Extraordinaire is also a Trinidad and Tobago native
and will tug at your heartstrings with his melodic Steel Drum tones. John McKnight (Bass, Trombone, Keyboards,
Guitar, & Background Vocals) Adam Arredondo (Keys & Background Vocals)
and Mark Spiller (Drums & Background Vocals) complete the stellar crew.
Upstream currently
has eight CD’s available. Their
discography is as follows: “Upstream”, self-titled CD release in
1995, “Life” released in 2000, “Jump to the Rhythm” in 2001, “To Da Maxx” and “Pick Up Yourself” in 2007 “21st
Century Live” in 2013, and most recently “Here, There and Everywhere” and “Steel Drum Session Vol. I” in 2014. A new collection of songs will be released
before the end of 2017.

Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the window. Stolen: blue/white leather purse, wallets, credit cards, gift cards, and currency. Wednesday, July 25th 3:30 PM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Vehicle damage: shattered window. 3:45 PM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Vehicle damage: shattered window. Thursday, July 26th 9:00 PM – A commercial burglary occurred in the 2200 block of Lincoln Avenue. Suspect(s) entered the location by shattering the rear glass door. Stolen: various brand frame glasses - Prada, Fendi, Versace, and Ray Ban. Friday, July 27th 1:00 AM – A domestic violence incident occurred in the 2100 block of Summit Avenue. Suspect was taken into custody. 6:20 PM – Jose Rojas, 38 years old of Altadena was arrested in the area of Sacramento Street and Raymond Lane for public intoxication. Saturday, July 28th 8:00 AM – A residential burglary occurred in the 2000 block of Allen Avenue. Suspect(s) entered the residence by shattering the front glass door. Stolen: jewelry.

Us:
We
have dedicated our musical lives to honoring and paying tribute to an American
Rock & Roll original, Tom Petty. We
seek to extend his 40-year performing legacy.
We are all long-term fans of Tom and his rockin’ band, The
Heartbreakers. We seek to faithfully
reproduce all the hits, from American Girl to The Waiting, and everything in
between. We love to play the hits, but
don’t be surprised to hear some of the best of Tom’s other projects such as
Mudcrutch and The Traveling Wilburys. We
seek to provide to both the avid and casual fan of Tom Petty the ability to
hear this great man’s exciting music once again in a live setting.

Sunday, July 15th 8:00 AM – A commercial burglary occurred in the 600 block of W. Woodbury Road. Suspect(s) entered the location by removing the window screen. Stolen: black Canon camera, black camera bag, 250mm camera lens, black Dell laptop, and black wireless headset. 9:37 AM - Five commercial vehicles containing landscaping equipment were reported stolen from the 2500 block of Fair Oaks Avenue. The vehicles were later recovered in the area of Altadena and Pasadena. Various landscaping tools are still outstanding. Tuesday, July 15th No significiant incidents. Monday, July 16th 3:45 AM – A domestic violence incident occurred in the 1000 block of E. Mariposa Street. Suspect was subsequently arrested. 6:15 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 2000 block of Roosevelt Avenue. Suspect(s) entered the location by removing the window screen and shattering the window. Stolen: silver iPad, jewelry, and (2) white pillow cases. Wednesday, July 18th 12:10 PM – Two locker burglaries occurred in the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Suspect(s) broke the padlock to the lockers and removed the contents. Stolen: currency. Thursday, July 19th 12:15 PM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 1900 block of Garfias Street. Vehicle described as a blue 1988 Toyota Pick Up containing landscaping equipment. Vehicle was recovered by LAPD Northeast. 4:00 PM – A domestic violence incident occurred in the area of Archwood Place and Windsor Avenue. Suspect has been identified. 7:45 PM – Michael Martinez, 30 years old of Altadena was arrested in the 70 block of W. Mountain View Street for being under the influence of a controlled substance. 11:27 PM – A battery occurred in the 1000 block of E. Altadena Drive. Suspects has not been identified. 11:54 PM – Robert Ramirez, 53 years old of Altadena was arrested in the area of Allen Avenue and Washington Boulevard for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Friday, July 20th No significiant incidents. Saturday, July 21st 2:29 AM – A residential burglary occurred in the 1800 block of E. Mendocino Street. Suspect entered the location via the unlocked garage door. Stolen: gray suitcase and alcohol.
