Altadena Sheriff's Station Crime Blotter for February 27th, 2022

Sunday, February 27th Between 3:00 PM and 8:00 AM (Monday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 700 block of Royce Street. Damage: front bumper damage. Monday, February 28th 12:15 PM – Carlos Hernandez, 54 years old, transient was arrested in the area of Woodbury Road and Marengo Avenue for drunk in public. 4:38 PM – An attempt residential burglary occurred in the 1600 block of Morada Place. Suspect(s) knocked on the front door and after no response proceeded to the rear sliding door. The suspects were startled after the victim yelled. Suspects last seen in a white minivan. 8:55 PM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 3600 block of N. Monterosa Drive. Damage: shattered window. Tuesday, March 1st Between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM (Wednesday) – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 3300 block of Bellaire Drive. Stolen: black Ray Ban sunglasses. Between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM (Wednesday) – A petty theft from an unlocked occurred in the 3300 block of Bellaire Drive. Stolen: Red Cross backpack, seatbelt cutter, black emergency compressor and a white iPhone charger. Thursday, March 3rd Between 3:00 PM and 8:30 AM (Friday) – A grand theft from a vehicle occurred in the 400 block of W. Harriet Street. Stolen: 2017 Nissan NV200 catalytic converter. Friday, March 4th 3:30 AM – An attempt theft from a vehicle occurred in the 3000 block of Highview Avenue. Suspect(s) attempted to remove a catalytic converter from a 2007 Toyota Prius.
