6:12 PM – Kelly Caldiero was arrested for being under the influence of
a controlled substance near the 1300 block of N. Altadena Dr.





Tuesday, January 13th


5:30 PM – Victim reported a domestic violence incident at the 1700
block of Atchison St.





Wednesday, January 14th


2:45 PM – Gregory Drake was arrested for being drunk in public near
the area of Lake Av. and Elizabeth Av.





Thursday, January 15th


11:30 PM – Victim reported a robbery at the 500 block of E. Mount
Curve Av.





Friday, January 16th


12:00 PM – Victim reported a battery at the 2100 block of N. Lake Av.





5:30 PM – Victim reported a residential burglary at the 1300 block of
Westlyn Pl.





8:19 PM – Victim reported a domestic battery at the 2300 block of
Glenrose Av.





10:52 PM – Brian Conley was arrested for possession of narcotic
paraphernalia near the area of Fair Oaks Av. and Mendocino St.





11:45 PM – Victim reported a domestic battery at the 2100 block of
Fair Oaks Av.





Saturday, January 17th


10:00 PM – Victim reported a domestic battery at the 400 block of E.
Mariposa St.

Sunday, January 4th


12:00 AM – Robert Wilson was arrested for public intoxication near the
400 block of E. Woodbury Rd.





Tuesday, January 6th


9:54 PM – Victim reported an assault with a deadly weapon (firearm
used, no shots fired, the victim and the suspect were known to one
another) at the 1300 block of Coolidge Av.  The suspect was taken
into custody.





Wednesday, January 7th


7:35 AM – Victim reported a residential burglary near the 2000 block
of Skyview Dr.  A black wallet, Canadian currency, and a wooden,
 triangular jewelry box were reported stolen.





2:00 PM – A bicycle was found at the 1800 block of Layton St. 
The bicycle’s original color was blue but was spray painted white.





2:05 PM – Victim reported a residential burglary near the 1200 block
of E. Palm St.  It was unknown what items were stolen at the time of
the report.





4:30 PM – Victim reported a residential burglary near the 1400 block
of Crest Dr.  It was unknown what items were reported stolen at the
time of the report.





Thursday, January 8th


7:00 AM – Victim reported vandalism to their vehicle at the 500 block
of E. Sacramento St.





Friday, January 9th


7:30 AM – Victim reported a residential burglary near the 600 block of
E. Calaveras St.  A wedding band, Rolex watch, iPod, Nintendo DS3,
and Nook tablet were reported stolen.





2:50 PM – Brian Prohaska was arrested for criminal threats at the 2600
block of E. Washington Bl.





Saturday, January 10th


1:22 AM – Lonnie Jones was arrested for being under the influence of a
controlled substance near the area of Lincoln Av. and Woodbury Rd.





10:30 AM – Victim reported vandalism to their residence at the 3100
block of Thurin Av.

Explorer Program



 
Open enrollment for the Altadena VIDA
program will take place on Monday, January 12th, 2015, at 6
pm, and Monday, January 19th, 2015 at 6 pm. These enrollment
dates are for the next VIDA class starting on February 11, 2015.
Enrollment will be at Eliot Middle School, room # 127. Eliot Middle
School is located at 2184 Lake Avenue, Altadena, CA 91001. You can locate

The goal of V.I.D.A (Vital Intervention
Directional Alternatives) is to put at-risk youth back on the right track
through military structured activities. The program is a total of 16
weeks starting on February 11, 2015. Program participants will meet twice
during the week. Wednesday’s from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm involving the child
and the parent, and Saturday’s from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, involving only the
child. The VIDA program is designed to build leaders by developing
self-esteem, teaching team work & discipline, improving academics,
and strengthening the family core by improving family relationships.
There is also a component of the program which offers tutoring,
counseling, and drug testing. If you have a child between the ages
of 11-17 who has a problem with academics, drugs, alcohol, disobedience,
or problems with the law, this program may be just what they need to get
them on a successful path. If you have any questions about the program,

3:26 PM – Richard Colomes was arrested for a traffic warrant in the area of Lincoln Av. and Devirian Pl.



Tuesday, December 23rd

4:00 PM – Victim reported a residential burglary at the 2000 block of N. Mar Vista Av.  Currency and an iPod were reported stolen.



Wednesday, December 24th

3:45 PM – Russell Medlock was arrested for a warrant near the area of Fair Oaks Av. and Mendocino St.



Thursday, December 25th

2:47 PM – Victim reported a domestic violence incident at the 300 block of W. Figueroa St.



Friday, December 26th

3:57 PM – Victim reported a domestic battery near the 2200 block of E. Washington Bl.
