11:17 AM – Victim reported a domestic violence incident in the 2100
block of Lincoln Av.





8:20 PM – Shoplifting incident occurred at Rite Aid, 735 E. Altadena
Dr.  A bottle of liquor was reported stolen.





9:53 PM – Tony Sandoval was arrested in the 2500 block of Fair Oaks
Av. for being drunk in public.





Monday, February 16th


2:06 PM – Victim reported a domestic violence incident in the 100
block of E. Altadena Dr.





2:42 PM – Victim reported a residential burglary in the 300 block of
Figueroa Dr.  No items were reported stolen.





8:40 PM – Noah Winer was arrested in the 1500 block of Crest Dr. for
possession of narcotics paraphernalia.





Tuesday, February 17th


4:55 PM – Bruce Evans and Demita Jones were arrested in the area of
Fair Oaks Av. and Harriet St. for possession of narcotics paraphernalia.





Wednesday, February 18th


10:25 AM – Victim reported a residential burglary in the 1800 block of
E. Loma Alta Dr.  No items were reported stolen.





Thursday, February 19th


2:30 AM – Victim reported a petty theft from a locker at 24Hr.
Fitness, 2180 Lincoln Av.  Currency was reported stolen.





6:00 AM – Victim reported a residential burglary in the 1800 block of
Vistillas Rd.  Jewelry was reported stolen.





Friday, February 20th


10:30 AM – Victim reported a stolen vehicle from the 700 block of
Royce St.





 7:45 PM – Alexandre Touloudjian was arrested for attempted
murder of a family member in the 1700 block of Allen Av.





Saturday, February 21st


1:30 PM – Victim reported a battery in the 2400 block of Grandeur Av.

1:12 PM – Victim reported a residential burglary in the 1500 block of Valencia Av.  No items were reported stolen.

4:30 PM – Victim reported a vehicle vandalism in the 800 block of E. Calaveras St.

Tuesday, February 10th
3:15 PM – A shoplifting incident occurred at Rite Aid, 735 E. Altadena Dr.

6:30 PM – Victim reported a vehicle burglary at 24 Hr. Fitness, 2180 N. Lincoln Av.  No items were reported stolen.

Wednesday, February 11th
10:00 PM – Victim reported a vehicle burglary at 24 Hr. Fitness, 2180 N. Lincoln Av. No items were reported stolen.

11:00 PM – Victim reported a vehicle burglary at 24 Hr. Fitness, 2180 N. Lincoln Av.  A purse, wallet, and personal documents were reported stolen.

Thursday, February 12th
12:20 AM – Marcus McGlothurn was arrested for theft from motor vehicles in the 2000 block of El Molino Av.

12:30 AM – Victim reported a domestic violence incident in the 400 block of Figueroa Dr.

10:00 AM – Victim reported a residential burglary in the 200 block of E. Mariposa Dr.  Jewelry was reported stolen.

11:34 PM – Caylan Swinnie was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 2600 block of Meguiar Dr.

6:00 PM – Victim reported an assault with a deadly weapon (knife, suspect and victim are known to one another) in the area of Fair Oaks Av. and Calaveras St.

4:12 PM – Karen Diamond was arrested for being under the influence of
a controlled substance in the area of Calaveras St. & Fair Oaks Av.





11:58 PM – Frank Olvera was arrested for possession of narcotics
paraphernalia in the area of Woodbury Rd. & Glenrose Av.

9:45 PM – Christopher Smith was arrested for being under the influence
of a controlled substance in the area of Fair Oaks Av. & Harriet St.





Tuesday, January 27th


11:30 AM – Victim reported a residential burglary in the 3600 block of
Canon Blvd.  A necklace, watch, and passports were reported stolen.

DEPARTMENT VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE OVER $11.1 M IN SERVICES DURING 2014!!!



 
In 2014 the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Volunteers saved
Los Angeles County $11,162,079.23!  They volunteered a total of
450,993 hours performing various law enforcement support functions. Their
duties include Volunteers on Patrol, Mounted Posse, CERT (Community
Emergency Response Team) and administrative support functions.


These 3,532 volunteers come from all walks of life and all
socio-economic levels.  Many are retired while some are students and
currently enrolled in local universities and community colleges. They
maintain their outside full or part-time jobs while at the same time
donating a minimum of 16 hours every month to the Sheriff’s
Department.  Many Volunteers put in much more than the minimum
requirement


They have all successfully completed a Volunteer Orientation and or
Volunteer on Patrol Academy and various other trainings, totaling
hundreds of volunteer hours.

Sunday, January 25th


8:15 PM – Karen Diamond was arrested for being under the influence of
a controlled substance near Calaveras Street and Fair Oaks Avenue.





Monday, January 26th


1:32 PM- Victim reported a theft of gardening equipment from a locked
vehicle at the 1700 block of East Altadena Drive.





10:30 PM- Victim reported a robbery near Figueroa Drive and Glenrose
Avenue.  Two male adults stole an iPhone from the victim.





Tuesday, January 27th


11:30 AM- Victim reported a residential burglary from the 3600 block
of Canon Boulevard.  Jewelry and the victim’s passport were reported
stolen.





11:50 PM- A fire to a residence was reported near the 400 block of E.
Mariposa Street.  The cause of the fire is still under
investigation.





Wednesday, January 28th


9:10 AM- Anthony Mitchell was arrested for an outstanding warrant near
300 E. Walnut Street.





Thursday, January 29th


12:10 AM- Victim reported their vehicle stolen near the 1000 block of
E. Mariposa Street.





6:40 PM- Jonathan Franklin was arrested for an outstanding warrant
near the 2400 block of Grandeur Avenue.





Friday, January 30th


8:35 PM- A female was arrested for vandalism at Fair Oaks Avenue and
Figueroa Drive.





Saturday, January 31st


6:25 PM- John Rodiger was arrested for a failure to appear warrant at
Altadena Drive and Morslay Road.
