Sunday, November 17th

Between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 2600 block of New York Drive. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle via unknown means. Stolen: pink iWatch, black Louis Vuitton wallet, and keys.
2:08 PM – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 300 block of Figueroa Drive. Stolen: brown wallet, credit cards, and currency.

Monday, November 18th

1:01 AM – Michael Carlin, 59 years old of Los Angeles was arrested in the area of Mountain View Street and Casitas Avenue for possession of a controlled substance.
3:00 AM – A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 200 block of E. Sacramento Street. Stolen: catalytic converter to Ford F350. Investigation is on-going.
9:30 PM – A domestic violence incident occurred in the 4300 block of Rising Hill Road. Suspect has been identified.

Tuesday, November 19th

1:30 PM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 2200 block of Washington Boulevard. Vehicle described as a black 1999 Honda Accord. *Vehicle was recovered by LASD Altadena.
4:00 PM – A petty theft occurred in the 2900 block of N. El Nido Drive. Stolen: black Samsung cellphone.
Between 7:00 PM and 1:00 AM (Wednesday) – A commercial burglary occurred in the 2400 block of Lake Avenue. Suspect(s) entered the business by shattering a window and cutting a hole through an adjacent business wall. Stolen: prescription medication.

Thursday, November 21st

7:31 PM – A domestic violence incident occurred in the 2000 block of Lake Avenue. Suspect has been identified.

Friday, November 22nd

Between 12:30 PM and 11:30 PM – A residential vandalism occurred in the 500 block of E. Marigold Street. Damage: shattered front door glass panels.
Between 7:00 PM and 12:00 AM (Saturday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 600 block of E. Las Flores Drive. Vehicle damage: front shattered window and windshield.
Between 7:00 PM and 12:30 AM (Saturday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 100 block of E. Palm Street. Vehicle damage: broken driver side mirror, front grill, front bumper, and front lights. Suspect has been identified.

Sunday, November 10th
 

Between 12:00 PM and 10:45 AM (Monday) – A commercial vandalism occurred in the 2400 block of N. Lake Avenue.  Damage:  shattered window. 
7:36 PM – Danny Collazo, 30 years old of Pasadena was arrested in the area of Lincoln avenue and Montana Street for under the influence of a controlled substance. 
9:27 PM – Steven Bonilla, 54 years old of Altadena was arrested in the 2700 block of Lincoln Avenue for vehicle vandalism. 
Monday, November 11th
 

Between 5:00 PM and 5:55 AM (Wednesday) – A grand theft occurred in the 400 block of W. Mariposa Street.  Stolen:  black motorcycle seat, saddlebags and a black iLuggage pack. 
9:48 PM – An assault with a deadly weapon (possible road rage) occurred in the 200 block of Laurel Drive.  
Tuesday, November 12th
 

Between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 400 block of N. Crosby Street.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicle via unknown means.  Stolen:  black fanny pack, currency and credit cards. 
11:00 PM – Rodrigo Zavala, 27 years old of Altadena was arrested in the area of Howard Street and El Sereno Avenue for possession of a controlled substance. 
Wednesday, November 13th
 

Between 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 3300 block of E. Villa Knolls Drive.  Suspect(s) entered the residence by shattering the rear bedroom sliding door.  Stolen:  (2) Olympic gold chips, jewelry and currency. 
Between 2:00 PM and 12:15 PM (Thursday) – A theft of a catalytic converter occurred in the 2100 block of Raymond Avenue.  Stolen:  catalytic converter to a 1995 Ford F350. 
Thursday, November 14th
 

Between 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM (Friday) – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 1100 block of E. Mendocino Street.  Stolen:  black wallet and personal documents. 
Friday, November 15th
 

Between 2:30 PM an 3:30 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 200 block of W. Mountain View Street.  Suspect(s) entered the residence by shattering the bathroom window.  Stolen:  unknown. 
Saturday, November 16th
 

Between 9:00 PM and 12:30 AM (Sunday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 1900 block of N. Allen Avenue.  Damage:  shattered window.

Advisory: Chaney Trail & Millard Campground Closed Through Monday 11/18/19 Due To Red Flag Fire Conditions

RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY OVER VENTURA COUNTY AND THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY MOUNTAINS...AND THE SANTA CLARITA AND SAN FERNANDO VALLEYS...

Northeast winds will increase late tonight, peaking early Sunday morning through late Sunday afternoon with gusts of 30 to 50 mph over Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Widespread minimum humidities in the 8 to 15 percent range are expected during this time, with afternoon highs in the 80`s to mid 90s. This will result in critical Red Flag conditions for wind prone areas of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties on Sunday.



* Winds...Northeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Relative Humidity...8-15 percent.

* Temperature...Maximums between 82 and 93.

* Impacts...If fire ignition occurs, conditions may be favorable
for extreme fire behavior which would threaten life and
property.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and war temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior. Use extreme caution with potential fire ignition sources.


*Chaney Trail and Millard Campgrounds will remain closed tonight through Monday 11/18/19 morning.

Between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM – A battery occurred in the 2600 block of N. Lake Avenue.  Suspect was taken into custody.
9:00 PM – Michael Urrutia, 38 years old of Alhambra was arrested in the area of Woodbury Road and Lake Avenue for under the influence
of a controlled substance.

Monday, November 4th

4:36 PM – A robbery occurred in the 2300 block of N. Glenrose Avenue.  Suspect described as a male, Hispanic, 5 feet 10 inches, 220 pounds.  Stolen:  black iPhone X.
8:26 PM – Darren Sullivan, 54 years old of Pasadena was arrested in the area of Lincoln Avenue and Devirian Place for under the influence
of a controlled substance.

Thursday, November 7th

4:26 PM – Danny Collazo, 30 years old of Pasadena was arrested in the 100 block of Woodbury Road for possession of a controlled substance.
8:37 PM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 2300 block of Canyada Avenue.  Vehicle described as a silver 2007 Kia Sedona.  Vehicle was recovered by LASD Altadena.

Friday, November 8th

8:50 AM – A domestic violence incident occurred in the 600 block of W. Altadena Drive.  Suspect has been identified.

Saturday, November 9th
7:39 AM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 300 block of E. Woodbury Road.  Suspect has been identified as a relative.

2:20 PM – A petty theft occurred in the 3300 block of N. Lincoln Avenue.  The victim met the suspect in the area after agreeing to sell an item via Offer Up.  The suspect took possession of the item and fled the area without paying.  Stolen:  gold necklace.
4:02 PM – A commercial burglary occurred in the 500 block of W. Woodbury Rd.  Suspects entered the location by shattering a window.  No items reported stolen.

Monday, October 28th
1:00 PM – A petty theft occurred in the 3200 block of N. Raymond Avenue.  Stolen:  Arlo security cameras.

Tuesday, October 29th
Between 7:10 AM and 2:00 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 1700 block of E. Mendocino Street. Suspect(s) entered the location via unknown means. Stolen:  unknown.
Between 10:55 AM and 8:35 PM - A residential burglary occurred in the 3600 block of Monterosa Drive.  Suspect(s) entered the residence by shattering the rear sliding glass door.  Stolen:  jewelry and yellow pillowcase.
Between 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 2000 block of Holliston Avenue.  Suspect(s) entered the location by shattering the window and disarming the burglar alarm.  Stolen:  unknown.
Between 2:30 PM and 7:45 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 1300 block of E. Woodbury Road.  Suspect(s) entered the location by shattering the window.  Stolen:  jewelry.

7:50 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of E. New York Drive.  Damage:  shattered window.
7:50 PM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 700 block of E. New York Drive.  Vehicle damage:  dents and scratches.

Wednesday, October 23rd

1:00 PM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 1700 block of Craig Avenue.  Vehicle described as a white 2006 Mazda 3.  Vehicle was recovered by LASD Altadena.

Between 8:30 AM and 12:30 PM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 1900 block of Pinecrest Drive.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the window.  Stolen:  tan tote bag, yellow leather purse, white Kindle, and currency.
1:48 PM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the 1800 block of N. Allen Avenue.  Suspect has been identified.

High winds expected through Friday, Millard Campground closed to vehicles,and campfires.

Advisory: High winds expected through Friday, Millard Campground closed to vehicles, and campfires.
 
Starting this evening 10/23/19 Altadena Sheriff’s Station and  United States Forest Service will be closing the Millard Canyon Campground along with many portions of the Angeles National Forest to be under red flag fire warning.  The National Service has issued a Santa Ana wind condition and red flag warning.  

  The conditions could exist in the next few days through Friday. A Red Flag Warning is the highest alert.  During these times, extreme caution is urged by all residents because fires are more likely to ignite and those that do are more likely to spread rapidly and be more difficult to control, therefore the area will be closed and the Chaney trail gate remain locked.  The area is closed to vehicles however pedestrians / hikers are still able to visit the area.

Also the Angeles National Forest will be under fire restriction starting today, asking people not to build maintain or attend any campfire, fire, or stove fire within the forest boundary.

Advisory: Red Flag Fire Warning. Chaney Trail and Millard Campground closes this weekend. Fire restrictions in Forest.
 
 
Starting this evening the United States Forest Service has recommended Millard Canyon Campground along with many portions of the Angeles National Forest to be under red flag fire watch.   The conditions could exist in the next 12-72 hours. A Red Flag Warning is the highest alert.  During these times, extreme caution is urged by all residents because fires are more likely to ignite and those that do are more likely to spread rapidly and be more difficult to control, therefore the area will be closed and the Chaney trail gate remain locked.  The area is closed to vehicles however pedestrians / hikers are still able to visit the area.
