The following road closures and event information are
for the Amgen Tour of California and Kaiser Permanente Ride, Roll &
Stroll, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2014. About 15,000
spectators are expected.

Road Closures & Event Times
Colorado Boulevard between Pasadena Avenue & Lake Avenue closed 10:30
a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ride, Roll and Stroll starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m.
Motorists can cross Colorado Boulevard at Fair Oaks Avenue or Los Robles
Avenue during Ride, Roll and Stroll until 1:30 p.m.
Streets will then be cleared for Amgen Tour of California riders.
Amgen Tour of California riders enter Pasadena approximately 2:30 p.m.
via Linda Vista Avenue, ride over the historic Colorado Street Bridge and
into Downtown Pasadena
Race includes three-lap circuit race through Downtown Pasadena with
finish at City Hall at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Cyclists to make three laps on Colorado, DeLacey Avenue, Union Street,
Raymond Avenue, Holly Street, Garfield Avenue, El Molino Avenue, Catalina
Avenue, Green Street and Madison Avenue.
Those streets will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic during the
race from 2:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Streets will re-open as soon as possible
following the last lap.
The motoring public is urged to drive with extra caution; observe all
temporary signs and restrictions and to obey directions from public
safety personnel.
Motorists are encouraged to look at the online maps for detailed detour
routes. Primary detour routes include Walnut Street to the North, Hill to
the East, Del Mar Boulevard to the South, and Orange Grove or the 710
Extension to the West.
The City of Pasadena thanks our residents, merchants, the motoring public
and pedestrians for their cooperation during these events.
Gold Line & Bike Valet Travel Options:
Spectators and participants are encouraged to ride bikes or travel to
Pasadena using alternate transportation. Bike valet locations around City
Hall, and public bike racks bordering Gold Line between Colorado
Boulevard and Holly Street and at train stations.
Numerous paid public and private parking locations along Colorado
Boulevard and Lake Avenue will be open.
Parking Information & Vehicle Towing Along Route
Routes will be posted with No Parking signs. Please observe all on-street
parking restrictions closely, noting all time restrictions.
Vehicles parked on the course during restricted times will be towed to
the Elks Lodge parking lot, 400 W. Colorado Boulevard, and will be
available for pick-up for free only until 5:00 pm on the day of the
event.
Call (626) 744-4400 on Event Day only for towing information. After that,
unclaimed towed vehicles will be moved to a City storage lot and storage
charges will apply.
