Community: #LASD Deputies Arrest Stabbing Suspect, Altadena
 
On Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at approximately 8pm, an assault with a deadly weapon call was placed to Altadena Sheriff’s Station.

A male adult was on a hiking trail in Eaton Canyon when he was stabbed multiple times by an unknown assailant.

The victim ran from the trail and to a residence near Altadena Drive and Roosevelt Avenue, in Altadena, pleading for help.

When deputies arrived, they rendered aid to the victim and detained the suspect within close proximity.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with multiple stab wounds to the upper torso. His condition remains unknown.

The suspect, a male White who appears to be in his mid 30’s, was on the trail for reasons yet unknown.

The suspect was transported for medical clearance for booking and has since been arrested and booked at Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station for assault with a deadly weapon.  He remains held in lieu of $250,000 bail.

A knife was recovered.
