Sunday, July 19th
3:30 AM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 100 block of East Las Flores Drive.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the driver’s side window.  Stolen was a black tool bag containing safety equipment.

9:30 AM – Carolyn Jackson, 39 years old of Monrovia, was arrested in the 2000 block of North Marengo Avenue for criminal threats and brandishing a weapon (knife).

Monday, July 20th
9:00 AM – A residential vandalism occurred in the 2300 block of Garfield Avenue.   Suspect(s) used a key to tamper with the keyhole.  No entry was made.

2:00 PM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 2200 block of East Crary Street.  Vehicle stolen described as: silver 2004 Mercedes SL55 AMG 2-door.  Vehicle was recovered by El Monte Police Department.

3:15 PM – A package theft occurred in the 400 block of West Las Flores Drive.  Suspect described as female, Hispanic or Middle Eastern in a white Ford Explorer.  Stolen was a pair of shoes and a vinyl record.

Tuesday, July 21st
3:00 PM – A grand theft incident occurred at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1014 Altadena Drive.  Stolen was a brass water regulator.

6:03 PM – Iberville Beard, 40 years old of Altadena, was arrested in the 500 block of West Figueroa Drive for violation of a restraining order.

7:32 PM – Richard Hinojosa, 46 years old of Pasadena, was arrested in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

8:00 PM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 3200 block of Grandeur Avenue.   Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the rear passenger window.  It is unknown what was stolen.

Wednesday, July 22nd
5:15 PM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the area of Altadena Drive and Olive Avenue.   Victim stated he was walking on Altadena Drive when he was approached by a known suspect who began chasing the suspect with a wooden stick and demanding his money back.  The suspect struck the victim several times on his arm while trying to run towards his residence.  The investigation is ongoing.

Thursday, July 23rd
8:15 AM – A petty theft occurred in the 2700 block of Lincoln Avenue.  Stolen were 8 gray plastic trash cans.

Friday, July 24th
1:00 AM – Pedro Orozco, 21 years old of Altadena, was arrested in the 400 block of Figueroa Drive for domestic violence.

11:05 AM – A battery incident occurred in the area of Ventura Street and Fair Oaks Avenue.  The victim was directing traffic and a motorist became impatient and began yelling at the victim.  The suspect exited his vehicle and began fighting with the victim.  The suspect then fled westbound on Ventura Street in a green 2000 Jaguar sedan.

Saturday, July 25th
12:25 PM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 2100 block of El Sereno Avenue.  The vehicle stolen was described as a blue 1982 Chevrolet Malibu.
