Community: Late night fire heavily damages Altadena store.

Last night at 11:03 pm a commercial structure fire was reported at Fair Oaks Av. and Woodbury Rd. when LA Co. Fire Department units arrived they saw heavy smoke and fire inside the structure. Fire Department units had to use cutting tools to gain access inside and after fighting the fire for several minutes they were able to search the inside of the store and thankfully no one was inside.
At this time the exact cause of the fire is under investigation. Early signs show it does not appear to be suspicious circumstances.
Most if not all of the contents of the store had been damaged by fire, smoke and water and was removed from the store by the fire department to ensure the fire would not reignite.
